Our 2023 Riesling praised by Le Point

After our recent recognitions for the 2023 Pinot Noir, it's now our 2023 Riesling's turn to be spotlighted by the press. French magazine Le Point featured it in an article titled "Alsace: avec le riesling, ça swingue" ("Alsace: Riesling is having a moment"), published on September 2, 2026, and written by Olivier Bompas.

An in-depth feature on Alsatian Riesling

The article explores the special place Riesling holds in the Alsace wine region: widely regarded as the benchmark dry white of the area, it stands out for its crisp acidity and the minerality that reflects the remarkable diversity of Alsatian terroirs — thirteen distinct soil types, ranging from granite and limestone to clay, schist, and sandstone. The journalist also touches on an ongoing debate, underway since 2022, over reforming the appellation's regulations to reserve the "Alsace Riesling" designation for dry wines only.

Our 2023 Riesling in the selection

As part of this feature, Le Point's editorial team conducted a blind tasting of 130 Riesling samples. Our 2023 Riesling scored 15.5/20, praised for its character marked by yellow fruit and peach, a fresh, mouth-watering palate, and a well-defined finish.
